Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Ramgarhia Gurdwara, Foleshill

The Ramgarhia Gurdwara in Foleshill is one of the oldest Sikh Temples in the country and today it was an honour to be invited to join their golden anniversary celebrations.

Many dignatories from the Sikh community were there as well as many local people from the community. The Lord Mayor: Cllr Hazel Noonan spoke, and I was also given the honour and priviledge to address the pioneers that set the Temple up 50 years ago, as well the current Sikh community.

It was a really delighful Sunday and I would like to thank Cllr Jaswant Birdi Singh for arranging it for all of us.
