Secretary of State for Defence - Michael Fallon MP - visits Coventry

Today, the Secretary of State for Defence: Micahel Fallon MP, visited Coventry to show his support for the three City Conservative Candidates: Coventry South: Gary Ridley; Coventry North West: Parvez Athtar and Coventry North East: Me!

He met with Conservative Party members from across the City and he spoke to us all from the same staircase that Margaret Thatcher addressed party members in 1987 when John Butcher was a Conseravtive MP for Coventry.

Michael said: “We absolutely have a realistic chance of winning seats in Coventry. We are aiming to win seats across the country as a national party and to show that this government has been good for Coventry.

“As business minister I saw the revival here, not just of the well known companies like Jaguar, but right across the aerospace sector.”
